There are Charleston weddings that are beautiful, and then there are Charleston weddings that feel like a party from beginning to end. Christina + Harry’s wedding day was absolutely the latter.

From their ceremony at St. Luke’s Chapel to an unforgettable reception at Hotel Bennett, this was a day centered around one thing: celebrating.

Downtown Charleston, Done Right

Christina + Harry exchanged vows at the beautiful St. Luke’s Chapel before heading downtown for their reception at Hotel Bennett. From there, the day turned into the kind of Charleston celebration that makes you want to hit rewind.

The design and logistics were truly out of this world, thanks to Bouquets & Bowties. Every detail felt intentional without ever taking away from what mattered most, Christina + Harry and the people they brought together to celebrate with them.

Hotel Bennett provided the perfect backdrop, with its unmistakable Charleston elegance and a reception space that was ready to transform into one seriously good party.

And transform it did.

A Wedding Day Built Around Having Fun

One of the things we loved most about Christina + Harry’s day was how clearly they prioritized having a great time.

Rather than trying to force the day into a rigid schedule or worrying about making every moment happen exactly as planned, they embraced the rhythm of the day. They stayed present, trusted their team, and allowed the celebration to unfold naturally.

That kind of flexibility is contagious.

It gave them more time to actually enjoy their wedding, to laugh, hang out with their friends, soak in the room, and ultimately party.

And Christina had a vision for what she wanted this celebration to feel like. Watching that vision come together throughout the day was pretty incredible.

By the time the reception was in full swing, there was no question: this was exactly the party they wanted.

And we’re so glad we got to be there to capture it.
